He was one of the difficult teenagers filmed by Dinara Asanova. The ones who brought a sense of truth to her films rather than acting. Alexander Bogdanov (biography and filmography are presented in the article) lived a short life without finding his destiny. He was one of the young people who failed to switch to reality from the close circle of friends that formed on the set of Asanova's paintings. So, more.
Bio Pages
The estimated date of birth of the actor is 1957. His childhood was spent in St. Petersburg, where he led the life of an ordinary yard kid. According to reports, he graduated from ShRM. In the early seventies, he was lucky enough to get to the casting of teenage actors to participate in the filming of the film by D. Asanova, where he had to play himself. The same courtyard kid with the character of a bully, but a good soul. He did it so talentedly that he could count on a successful career incinema, but instead returned to his normal life in the late 70s.
In the cult film "The Boys", the director recruited younger guys, and Bogdanov did not have enough education to participate in other projects. District police officer Yu. M. Luchinsky remembers how, during a tour of the territory, he detained a would-be actor for drunkenness and parasitism. He married early, he had two children, but this did not add seriousness and responsibility to him. Where was Alexander Bogdanov filmed? Films (there are only five of them) are brought to your attention just below.
The woodpecker doesn't have a headache
The film debut of Bogdanov took place in 1974, when Asanova was filming her first film based on the script by Y. Klepikov. The eminent author of "Dauria" and "Asya Klyachkina" did not immediately decide to cooperate with the novice director and at first did not agree with her concept of turning a light, almost comedic film into a lyrical one. But later it was this seriousness and deep penetration into the world of teenagers that made the film so beloved by the audience. In 1976, she became a laureate of the Leningrad Review of Creative Youth.
At the time of filming, Alexander Bogdanov, an unprofessional actor, was a sixteen-year-old boy, and he was to play a seventh grader. But in this role, he looks very organic. Asanova created an atmosphere of improvisation on the set. The script was read to the young actors only once. They were not required to memorize the text. Knowing the plot, they are in the frameuttered the dialogues in their own words, feeling like full-fledged co-authors of the film. This had a positive effect on the result.
Role of Bogdanov
The main storyline of the picture is the love story of Seva Mukhin (Alexander Zhezlyaev) and Irochka Fedorova (Elena Tsyplakova), classmates. Searching for numerous answers to the questions posed to the younger generation, they seem to be trying to prove from the screen that adolescence is not a preparation for adulthood, it is life itself.
Actor Alexander Bogdanov plays Lyova Bulkin, whom even the teacher (Ekaterina Vasilyeva) calls Baton. And this is no coincidence. He is a true friend who hides the soul of a mature and reliable person behind the mask of a simple hooligan guy.
The fact that he is also in love with Ira Fedorova is evidenced only by the photograph on the map hanging on the wall of his room. This remains a mystery for the girl herself, who is leaving with her parents for another city. He follows her with a sad look from behind a post at the station and assists a friend who is trying to catch up with a train that has started off the platform.
Mukhin cries from impotence, and the viewer - from the fact that he remembers his first love and the experiences associated with it. The sincerity of the performance of the young actors is the main success of the film.
Genka Formanyuk from The Retired Colonel
A year later, director I. Sheshukov undertook to make a film about a former military man who decided to continue working as an ordinary turner at a factory (N. Grinko). According to the script, a group of teenagers is sent there, a brigade of which is taken to be led by a retired colonel. After the film "The woodpecker does not have a headache," it seems absolutely natural to invite Bogdanov to the role of Genka Formanyuk, one of the members of the youth replenishment of the plant. Having drives to the police, he is brought up by a woman offended by life (Z. Charko). It is Formanyuk who personifies the most scruffy and re-educational teenager who resists the colonel's influence.
The film ends with an interview that APN journalists take from the guys. A similar technique will be used by Dinara Asanova in her new works. The teenagers' answers speak of the strong influence of "bati", as they called their mentor. And only the exchange of views between N. Grinko and A. Bogdanov at the end of the picture shows that it is not so easy for an adult and respected person to rethink his position by a difficult teenager. The viewer can only guess how the fate of Genka Formanyuk will turn out. It seems that Alexander Bogdanov is playing himself. The actor seems to reveal his own inner world to the audience and talks about his life.
Sasha Maidanov from "Key without the right to transfer"
D. Asanova invited some of the actors with whom she had previously worked in her next film in 1976. Among them were E. Tsyplakova and A. Bogdanov. The film was about tenth-graders who did not find a common language with either teachers or parents. But they had an absolute mutual understanding with the coolhead Marina Maksimovna.
The screenplay was written by Georgy Polonsky, whose film "We'll Live Until Monday" was previously warmly received by the audience. And again the rebel is played by Alexander Bogdanov. The actor appears as the only student who does not attend Saturday meetings at Marina Maksimovna's apartment.
But this time the furry tenth grader is also in love. In her classmate Yulia Bayushkina, played by Marina Levtova. And in a new capacity, Bogdanov is so convincing that Asanova invites him to her next picture, but it will be their last collaboration.
Trouble
In the film of 1977, which tells about the degradation of the welder of the motor depot Vyacheslav Kuligin, Bogdanov has a very small episodic role. He plays the guy from the train, and his name is not even listed in the credits. The problem of alcoholism, raised in the picture, will soon affect him as well.
Gold Mine
In the same year, director E. Tatarsky invites him to the two-part film "Golden Mine". Actor Alexander Bogdanov (personal life will be described below) plays the driver of the garbage truck Kravchuk.
The detective aroused great interest of the audience largely due to the participation of such famous actors as M. Gluzsky, L. Udovichenko, E. Kindinov and O. Dal. But the character of Bogdanov at the very beginning of the film becomes a victim of an attack by a fugitive felon, so he does not intersect with any of the celebrities on the set. The film was the last appearance of the young actor on the screen.
Alexander Bogdanov: cause of death, family
In Soviet times, the district police officer was obliged to keep a record of people leading a parasitic lifestyle. So, the Bogdanov spouses, who do not have a permanent place of work, fell into the sphere of his attention. Alexander regularly appeared on all calls and always took two children with him. He was afraid that he might be imprisoned. No one today denies that the spouses both drank alcohol. At the same time, Alexander Bogdanov was distinguished by a special weakness of character. The family did not save him from alcohol addiction. After the untimely death of D. Asanova in April 1985, he completely lost control of himself.
And on April 9, his disfigured corpse was found in a ditch near the Dachnoye railway platform. He was identified by a former district police officer, who was struck by the brutality of the crime. The entire belly of the cinema star was pierced with a knife, the corpse in the bag was badly burned. During the investigation, it turned out that Bogdanov was killed by drinking companions, a man and a woman. He was first hit with a hammer, breaking his head, then they put him in a bag and took him on a sledge to a ditch. When the bag was set on fire, the actor suddenly regained consciousness, but the killers showed no mercy and finished him off.
Bogdanov was buried in the Southern Cemetery of St. Petersburg, and the criminals were caught and brought to justice. The saddest thing is that he is not the only one of the young actors D. Asanova who passed away immediately after the end of his career in cinema.
