Career start

Formula 1 debut

The victory in GP2 allowed the German talent to get into the most prestigious racing competitions in the world. Nico Rosberg's first team in Formula 1 was Williams. The debut race of the German took place in Bahrain. Rosberg finished seventh. In Malaysia and Australia, the Germans will not manage to reach the finish line. In total, during the first season, Rosberg was forced to retire from the race in nine races. The highest positions were 7th in Bahrain and at the European Grand Prix.

Mercedes

In 2010Niko moved to the Mercedes team. In his debut season as part of a new team, the German won three bronze medals. With 142 points, he finished the season in 7th place. In 2012, Nico Rosberg was able to win his first Formula 1 victory at the Chinese Grand Prix. Three races later, he again climbed to the podium.
