Intrauterine devices (IUDs) operate on two principles, depending on their type. They are, first of all, a barrier to the penetration of spermatozoa into the fallopian tubes, since they create the effect of the presence of a foreign body in the uterus. But even if fertilization occurs in some random way, the same contraceptive coils will prevent the egg from attaching to the uterine wall.

What are contraceptives like the IUD? To be honest, they are called spirals, rather, out of habit. But in fact, they are mostly T-shaped. They are made of plastic with a winding of copper wire or precious metals - silver or gold. On the other hand, as contraceptives, the spiral or intrauterine ring are convenient and long-term ways to prevent unwanted pregnancies.
