This chronic disease is associated with excessive growth of the skin of the nose and occurs predominantly in middle-aged and older men. Disfigurement of the face is not the most terrible manifestation of this disease, it is also associated with clogging of the sebaceous glands and the appearance of tuberous growths. The fight against rhinophma is carried out only by surgery.

If we draw parallels with the animal world, then the longest nose, of course, went to the handsome elephant. Its size reaches 1.5 -2 m. The elephant's trunk is a long process formed by the fusion of the upper lip with the nose. A finger-like growth located at the tip of the trunk allows the elephant to capture food and various objects. The nose of this amazing animal is a place of concentration of more than 40 thousand muscles and muscles, due to which it is characterized by great strength and mobility. It is said that with the help of its nose, an elephant is able to pick up even a small pin from the floor. Whether this is really so, one can only guess.
