Marshal Baghramyan - Hero of the Soviet Union. He was born in 1897. At first, Bagramyan studied at a parochial school, but after that he went to a technical school.school. During the First World War, he began to fight in the Russian imperial army. For some time he served in an infantry regiment, and then in a cavalry regiment. In 1917 he was already a graduate of the ensign school. Since 1918 he began to serve in the national Armenian army. At the same time, his regiment detained the Turkish invaders. However, in 1920, Marshal Baghramyan was arrested due to a rebellion, although he was soon released. Was he left unpunished? Turned a blind eye to misconduct? No, he was demoted to platoon leader.

It wasn't all bad though. Supporting the Red Army, Bagramyan ensured that in 1923 he had his own regiment, and a year later he had the opportunity to go to study in Leningrad. Soon, when he graduated, he did not stop and decided to enter the Frunze Military Academy. From that moment on, he began to move rapidly up the career ladder. Colonel, chief of the operational staff, teacher at the Academy of the General Staff - all these are the merits of Bagramyan, of which he was very proud and, perhaps, would have received as many titles if not for the Stalinist terror. He was discharged from the army, although a few years later he was again called to serve. After his death, a monument was erected to Baghramyan in Armenia, and he himself received the title of marshal during his lifetime …

Another bright personality. Aram Khachaturian is a great composer, who was put on a par with Glinka and Prokofiev. He was born into a large family with five children. Although Khachaturian was born in Georgia, butby nationality, he was an Armenian and always remembered this. As a child, the composer was a very energetic, agile and perky child. His parents were worried about him, so they decided to send Khachaturian to a boarding school to give him a really good education. At the boarding house, the boy sang a lot and, probably, it was for this reason that he soon begged the piano from his parents. The most interesting thing was that he did not know any basics of music, although he so passionately wanted to learn everything. He did a great job!

When Aram Khachaturian grew up, he left Georgia for Moscow, where he became a student of biology and physics and mathematics. After some time, Khachaturian entered the Gnessin School, deciding to finally and irrevocably connect his life with music. During the Second World War, his works were proud and admired by the whole country.

The Ministry of Culture in Armenia and the State Youth Orchestra were named after Aram Khachaturian. Competitions are held every year in his honor. Cooperating with Robert Rozhdestvensky, Arno Babajanyan wrote many songs, but he was constantly tormented by thoughts about his homeland, so he often returned there. He was given strength by the recognition and love of his own people, because Arno always respected the Armenian people and listened to their opinion. Babajanyan wrote music to which poetry was created by contemporary poets.

At the age of thirty, Arno Babajanyan was diagnosed with leukemia, so the Soviet authorities decided to call a good doctor from Paris. Of course, it could not have done without the help of compatriots in this matter. Then Arno was examined by a French doctor and prescribed the appropriate treatment. After that, the composer lived with the diagnosis for several more decades.

Mikael Tariverdiev is a famous composer who mainly wrote instrumental music. The composer was born in Georgia. But the parents insisted that the boy take up a musical education. Tariverdiev was enrolled in a music school, where he studied piano. After graduation, he entered the music school. Mikael Tariverdiev came under the leadership of Aram Ilyich Khachaturian. He certainly got lucky with that. Then Mkrtchyan entered an Armenian university, which he successfully graduated in 1956. By that time, he was already a member of a theater troupe. In 1956, Frunzik Mkrtchyan also managed to star in his first film. After that, he gained more and more respect, but in the 80th year he was forced to leave the film industry, and in the 90th - his beloved theater. It was rumored that it was during this period that the famous Armenian of the world had problems with alcohol.

He is the inventor who discovered the technology that laid the foundation for color television. Hovhannes Adamyan was born in Azerbaijan in the family of an Armenian businessman.

Beginning to be interested in science as a boy. After school, this famous Armenian of the world moved to Europe, where he decided to continue his education. In France, Switzerland and Germany, Adamyan studied and then began working on his own inventions.

He developed black and white and color television systems. Developing his theoretical knowledge, Adamyan became the first person in the world who received at least some results in working with color television and, first of all, in the transmission of color television. In March 1908, he patented a two-color apparatus for signal transmission. Later he received the same patents in the UK, France and Russia. Despite the fact that the invention received wide publicity, it can be considered only one of the predecessors of colortelevision, because any color is made up of combinations of three primary colors, and two were and will not be enough. In addition, the device could not show moving objects. Most of the documents and records of this invention were lost when Munich was bombed during World War II.

Luther George Simjian is an Armenian scientist who created about 200 inventions.

Simjian was born in Turkey on January 28, 1905 and died on October 23, 1997 at the age of 92. He lived a long time, didn't he? During World War I, he immigrated to the United States at the age of fifteen. He was forced to move and part with his family because of the Armenian genocide. Relatives helped him in the USA. Then he began to study independently in Connecticut, moonlighting as a photographer. Luther George Simjian first attended Yale University, studying medicine. However, his preferences changed when the university provided one project for an imaging lab. In 1928 he took over as director of the photography department at the university. And already in the 30s, he made a great contribution to the development of X-ray machines.

Soon, Luther George Simjian founded his own firm and began to create new technologies with its help. In the same year, he had a desire to make such a device that could independently issue money to people. He struggled for a long time with this very difficult task. The path was not easyafter all, practically no bank took into account him and his ideas. However, having acquired more than 15 patents, he nevertheless developed the world's first ATM and signed a contract with one very successful and reputable company. But not everything was so smooth. Simjian's invention was not in demand on the market, so the contract was terminated after six months. The ATM is perhaps Simjian's most popular invention.
