Biography
Veronica Ferres (photo below) was born in 1965 in Solingen (Germany). She is the only daughter of Katarina and Peter Ferres. After receiving a school certificate at a local gymnasium, the girl attended the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, where she studied psychology and theater studies for several years. So she had some skills to start her acting career.
Since 1990, Veronika has been in a close relationship with director Helmut Dietl, in whose films, by the way, she starred several times. But in 1999 they separated. A year later, the actress married producer Martin Krug, with whom they lived for 10 years. She is currently happily married to German businessman Carsten Maschmeier.

Veronica Ferres got her first real role in the musical VoltaireBockmeier "Girl with a Vulture" (1988). Four years later, she played one of the characters in Helmut Dietl's comedy film Shtong! She played one of the main roles in Ralf Hüttner's thriller Babylon (1992). And in 1996, together with Til Schweiger, she appeared in Sönke Wortmann's comedy "Classy Woman".
In the period from 1993 to 1996, the actress played Anita Kuf alt in Kurt Bartsch's serial drama Our Teacher Dr. Specht (1992-1999). In 1997, she received a small role in another project of her man - the comedy Rossini. A year later, she played the main character in Egon Günther's biographical drama The Bride. In 2000, Veronica Ferres played in four episodes of the historical mini-series José Diane Les Misérables. She played the role of Nelly Kroeger Mann, one of the main characters in Heinrich Breler's biographical drama The Mann Family - A Centenary Romance. She co-starred with John Malkovich in Raoul Ruiz's biopic Klimt (2005). And in 2006, she got the lead roles in Robert Young's comedy No Snow and in Jörg Grunler's drama Negro, Negro, Chimney Sweep.

In 2007, the actress played the role of Lydia Seidel in Dieter Wedel's comedy-drama My Old Friend Fritz. Ruby Book" (2013). And a year later, with the same role, she appeared in the second part of the series - "Timeless 2. Sapphire Book".
