2024 Author: Henry Conors | [email protected]. Last modified: 2024-02-12 02:48
Today the name of this actor is unlikely to be remembered by anyone among school youth. But three decades ago, almost every teenager knew him. We can safely say that Alyosha Fomkin became famous and became famous throughout the country thanks to one brilliantly played role. It was he who played the schoolboy Kolya Gerasimov in the adventure-fiction film "Guest from the Future", filmed by director Pavel Arsenov back in 1984. In fact, Alyosha Fomkin after this film was supposed to become a sought-after actor. But he could not take place in this profession …
Childhood years
Alyosha Fomkin was born on August 30, 1966 in an ordinary family (place of birth - Moscow). He went to a regular school, and his interest in amateur art woke up in his early childhood. As a first-grader, Alyosha Fomkin attended theater circles.
Once he took part in a reading competition and won a prize in it. After some time, the "promising" boy was invited to the screen test of the film "Scarecrow", which was directed by Rolan Bykov in 1983. But despite the fact thatfor Alexei they were unsuccessful, fate still gave him a brilliant chance to start an acting career.
Yeralash
As already emphasized, the creative biography of Alyosha Fomkin is tragic, and in this sense it is similar to the biographies of many talented actors of the past. He had to go through fire, and water, and copper pipes. However, copper pipes in this list should have been put in first place. Glory and fame overnight turned the young man's head. And the comedy newsreel "Yeralash" served as a springboard for them. Although unsuccessful, the shooting in Scarecrow was nevertheless noticed.
The issue called "Auction", where Fomkin masterfully sold his control work for a mark of "5", became the first victory in the cinema for the young actor. Being already a well-known actor, Alexei will again star in "Yeralash" - the release will be called "Peeping is not good."
Guest from the Future
And after participating in a humorous film magazine for Fomkin, the finest hour will strike. Director Pavel Arsenov, after watching the release of "Yeralash", in which a talented boy starred, will offer him one of the main roles in the fantasy "Guest from the Future". Well, who would refuse such an offer? And painstaking work began on the set, which lasted almost three years. Most of the episodes were filmed in Moscow, although I had to go to Gagra as well. In general, Alexei had little time to rest, in between filming in "Guest from the Future" he managed to work in "Yeralash". A film about a girl Alice hada colossal success with a young audience. A large army of film fans filled up with letters from the director. Natasha Guseva (performer of the role of Alice) and Alyosha Fomkin (performer of the role of Kolya Gerasimov) became famous all over the country. It seemed that they were already guaranteed success in the acting profession.
But the paradox lies in the fact that neither Natasha nor Alyosha have reached great heights in the field of acting. Yes, Fomkin will still act in films, but the role in the film "The Reason" will be of the second plan, and for the viewer it will go unnoticed.
What's next?
In 1986, the aspiring actor will graduate from the school. It is easy to guess that because of his work in the cinema, Alyosha Fomkin, whose photo every second teenager knew, practically did not devote time to study. As a result, he received a certificate in which it was written in black and white that he “listened” to 10 classes.
After some time, the young man will be invited to participate in the filming of the film "In My Own Land" (1987). Alexey will respond to the proposal of director Igor Apasyan. But again, he gets a secondary role. And again, the viewer leaves her without much attention.
Creative Crisis
After filming with Apasyan, the directors were in no hurry to provide work for the young actor. Alexei fell into a depression: he could not accept that he had become useless on the set. But he managed to gather his will into a fist and distract himself from gloomy thoughts. Fomkin decides to join the ranks of the Soviet army. He is sent to Irkutsk Angarsk. But even there, experiencing all the hardships of army service, he did notstops doing amateur art activities.
After demobilization, Alexey will come to get a job at the Gorky Moscow Art Theater. He was accepted into the troupe, but the young man often ignored the rules of labor discipline. A few months later, Fomkin was fired from the theater for systematic absenteeism.
Lost myself
And again, due to the lack of demand in the acting profession, the young man began to be overcome by depression. He changed his job in the temple of Melpomene to work as a house painter. But in this capacity, Alexei did not work long. Gradually, he became addicted to drugs and eventually lost himself completely. The young man decided to start life from scratch and leave for some provincial and sparsely populated area.
New life
So Alexey ended up in the Vladimir region. He settled in the small village of Bezvodnoye, where he then liked to come every summer. The actor lived alone. There were no special conditions for comfort: the nearest store was in a neighboring village. After some time, Fomkin got a job as a miller. The disorder in life gradually faded away.
Tragedy
Once friends invited Alexei to a party in Vladimir, where he met a girl, Elena. After some time, the actor moves to the regional center and marries Lena. The newlyweds began to live in the wife's apartment.
In 1996, on the eve of the Day of the Soviet Army, Alexei and his wife were invited by friends to celebrate such an important event. Suddenly at nightthere was a fire. Everyone was able to escape, but not Alyosha Fomkin. The cause of death was carbon monoxide poisoning. When the apartment was on fire, he slept peacefully. Such is the fate of Alyosha Fomkin.
