A talented Soviet actor and wonderful parodist Viktor Chistyakov was born in Leningrad on June 30, 1943. From a very young age, he surprised those around him with the ability to skillfully imitate any sounds that he heard - birds, animals, people. Victor Chistyakov copied people even in intonations. Parents saw the future acting skills of their son when he accurately copied excerpts from the ballet "Swan Lake", which they watched in the theater. The child was sent to a choreographic school, where he studied until the seventh grade. Then physical activity became exorbitant for him, and he changed ballet to music - he entered school in the clarinet class.
Studying at the institute
After graduating from high school, Viktor Chistyakov began his studies at the acting department of the Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinema. The course was tight-knit, fun and talented, and the program was experimental. It was thanks to her that Viktor Chistyakov learned to skillfully imitate anyone, using both the flexibility of his voice, the fidelity of intonation, the accuracy of facial expressions, andeloquence of gesture. Friends, students and teachers were delighted. Not a single event took place without his participation. Even then Chistyakov Victor was a great parodist.
He easily sang not only for Kozlovsky and Lemeshev, but even for Lyalya Chernaya. After graduation, he was invited to the Komissarzhevskaya Drama Theater, where he made his debut as a beggar ("The Prince and the Pauper"). However, talent called on the road, and Viktor Chistyakov, whose biography as a parodist has not even really begun yet, goes to Moscow. First visits. It was 1966, only in 1971 he began working at the Gogol Theater, already being a well-known pop artist.
Estrada
In 1968, a new star appeared on the stage - Victor Chistyakov, a parodist. Solo performances made him incredibly popular, he had no equal in musical parody. Little by little, he left the theatrical field, because he felt that his fate would not work out there as brilliantly as on the stage.
Already his first independent number showed how richly gifted this performer is by nature. Not only the gift of the parodist and imitator amazed the listener, but also the absolute pitch, the range of the voice and the true talent of the actor. The range was really unique: Viktor Ivanovich Chistyakov sang Claudia Shulzhenko, and Lyudmila Zykina, and Edita Piekha, and Mireille Mathieu. Almost immediately, real fame came to him.
Persons
It is a pity that not all the work that Victor didChistyakov, was preserved on film, but something was nevertheless done to remember the great parodist, his exceptional artistry and phenomenal vocal abilities. It was not far from the miracle and mysticism - what he did with his voice. All parodied were absolutely recognizable: breathing, timbre coloring, character of performance. Viktor Chistyakov did not do parodies with the help of a certain vocal trick, it was always an image, and always a kind one. Although often the parodied were still offended.
Nikolai Slichenko was offended, persuaded him not to mimic Polad Bul-Bul Ogly, Lyudmila Zykina was angry. However, absolute recognition was recognized by everyone. And how gracefully the actor Chistyakov Victor sang for Anna Herman! This is the absolute identity of singing. Once on the radio, listeners were checked right on the air: out of two verses of Maya Kristalinskaya's song, Viktor Chistyakov sang one. Even experts could not distinguish the performers. Shulzhenko, preparing to go on stage, heard the parodist singing "The Blue Handkerchief", and exclaimed in surprise: "What is this? I'm singing it!" Sometimes Victor sang better than his parodied ones (of course, this does not concern Claudia Ivanovna, but there were many of them).
Your voice
Great actor, parodist showed the audience not only fantastic musicality. He incredibly subtly conveyed the manner of singing of all his characters. However, his personality did not dissolve in the parodied, always his own attitude prevailed in the construction of each parody. It was clearly notcopy, it was high creativity.
Chistyakov's vocal skill was at such a high level that when the already aged Lemeshev could not technically cope with some fragments of arias during the filming of a documentary film, unsuccessfully re-recording the soundtrack a dozen times, Victor helped him. Not only the audience did not notice this substitution, but even specialists who were not aware of it. However, Viktor Chistyakov was, in turn, unhappy, he could not sing anything with his voice. He didn't even know what he was. I tried, but I always switched to imitation.
In four years
Work on the stage took all the time of the parodist and took away all his strength. He collected full houses for only four years. During this time, he managed to make sure that his work was remembered for many decades. He managed to give more than a thousand concerts, which is about three a day. On vacation and holidays, there were six or ten performances a day, and even in different cities. The geography of his trips covered the whole country.
Here you need to remember what ligaments are. The vocal apparatus has been preparing for concert activity for many years, but Victor did not have a singing school. At all. But even professional singers lead a strict lifestyle, trying in every possible way to protect the ligaments from colds and overloads.
Companions
Star numbers for the parodist were first written by his theatrical colleagues - Ilya Reznik and Stanislav Landgraf, then he worked closely with Yuri Entin, the poet, subtlyfeeling the theme. Victor Chistyakov recorded five songs for the cartoon "Blue Puppy" on his poems, then Gennady Gladkov decided to involve him in the second series of his legendary Bremen Town Musicians. But in both cases it was not possible to bring the matter to an end. "Puppy" was voiced by Alexander Gradsky, Andrey Mironov, Mikhail Boyarsky and Alisa Freindlikh, and Leonid Berger sang for "Bremen Town Musicians-2".
Viktor Chistyakov Gennady Khazanov remembers very warmly. According to him, this artist was far from any politics, he was an act of art in itself. And this belongs much more to eternity than the presence of certain political views. He was a truly theatrical person, his world was closed and fragile. Viktor Chistyakov is a unique parodist, in which the artistic principle prevails over talented imitation.
To Kharkiv
In May 1972, the Kharkov Operetta Theater celebrated its twenty-fifth anniversary, Viktor Chistyakov was among those invited to participate in a gala concert on this occasion. Tickets were bought in advance, the plane took off in the morning, and Viktor Chistyakov, as he almost always did, overslept. At night, he usually sat up for a long time at work or books. The night before, he was away late, and then signed a huge pile of photos received from the photographer.
Victor still managed to get on the plane. And this was the last flight planned: the flight was delayed due to a malfunction, the pilots refused to lift the car into the air. But it was assignedthis old technique, which flew off its equipment to Kharkov, and therefore it was decided not to cancel the flight after all, in order to drive the plane back to the address. It did not fly to the place, it collapsed in the air. Almost a hundred passengers died, the entire crew. Victor Chistyakov was also on board this ill-fated aircraft. Sat in thirteenth place.
Premonition
He seemed to have a premonition of his own death. Suddenly, a few days before the flight, he returned all his debts, began to wear a black shirt and stoically endured all the comments on this matter. Even when there was a performance in the Hall of Columns - this was his last concert - and Boris Brunov gently asked Victor why he was in such a non-concert form, the answer was not immediately understood. Chistyakov explained the black shirt as mourning, although none of his relatives died. He died himself a few hours later.
The artist was not such an easy and cloudless person as his work draws. It had real depth, full of complex, fragile and delicate components, which is what distinguishes real artistry. This is the only reason why it is not strange that Viktor Chistyakov, a completely unsuitable person to fight for a place under the sun, has reached incredible heights. He was only twenty-eight, and during this time he managed not only to take place professionally, he became truly loved by the widest sections of modern society. Inwardly, he was not a joyful person, but his sadness was light.
Memory
Grateful spectators in huge numbers came to the Theater Institute of Leningrad to say goodbye to their favorite artist. At the funeral they talked about funnystudent skits, about jokes and pranks, about the funniest episodes that were associated with the artist. Everyone was involved in memories, and there were no sad ones among them, however, grief from the early and unexpected departure of a loved one did not go away.
In 1993, a book about a brilliant parodist was published (on his fiftieth birthday). She absorbed the stories of friends, relatives and loved ones. His creative biography is extremely short - only four years, but it inscribed the brightest page in the history of pop music. The disc, on which everything that Viktor Chistyakov managed to record, fit, is only one. In 2005, a documentary was filmed, which is still watched with inexhaustible interest today. It's called "Viktor Chistyakov - Parody Genius".
