Skygazers can boast a luxurious tail, it is much more magnificent and larger than that of ordinary aquarium inhabitants.
Also, these fish have a decent lifespan. There were cases when skygazers lived to be fifteen years old. Average age 10-12 years old.

The funniest fish on the planet can live in any conditions. The main thing is to have enough free space. Buddhist monks kept such fish in artificial reservoirs at monasteries. Today, aquarists settle the "heavenly eye" in bulk aquariums. According to experts, one fish 13-15 centimeters long should have fifty to sixty liters of water.
Due to the peculiarities of the structure of the eyes and head, the funny fish has some problems with feeding. In winter, the aquarium is recommended to be heated. Also, these fish quite often suffer from various bacterial diseases. It is better to limit their "communication" with other fish and keep in a separate aquarium.
Perhaps, it will not be possible to call the maintenance and breeding of the “heavenly eye” simple and easy. But many fans of aquarium fish, especially goldfish, assure that these wonderful funny creatures are worth it.
