Great popularity among amateur air pistols have gained weight and size copies of military weapons. Cleaning and disassembly

Note: Complete disassembly may be required after the product has been dropped into water or mud. It is not recommended to unnecessarily disassemble the weapon.

The mechanism is cleaned with a dry toothbrush. Oil is added in places of moving units (use an oiler with a long spout or spray from a can).

The design is assembled in the reverse order. The assembled product is wiped from excess oil, but not wiped dry - the remnants of a thin oil film will protect the metal from early rusting.

Preparing the product for use

First, the magazine is charged with balloons and a can of CO₂ is screwed into it. The equipped magazine is placed in the handle until it stops, while the fuse is moved parallel to the barrel.

Safety measures

To minimize walking with a loaded weapon, prepare the target in advance. Shots are fired only in the direction of the target, making sure that there are no people in the direction of firing. Beforecarrying the MP 654 pistol must be discharged, for which the rest of the balls in the store are shot and the cylinder with the remaining gas is unscrewed.

During the operation of the gun is prohibited:

• direct towards people with the muzzle;
• store and keep charged;
• disconnect the full tank from the store;
• dismantle the store with the balloon placed.

Also, when the speed of the bullet decreases, which is associated with the consumption of gas in the cylinder, you need to stop firing in time, without firing blank shots without gas. • in some models, improvements are allowed that worsen the tightness of the pneumatic system;
• not completely similar to the original firearm: experts will notice that there is no ejector and there is an extra screw with a ring for tightening the spray can at the bottom of the handle;
• cannot attach other sights - except for the laser designator in front of the trigger guard.

Despite the fact that the Makarov MP 654 air pistol has some drawbacks, they are not considered critical for shooting enthusiasts. To reduce barrel wear and increase bullet speed, it is recommended to use lead balls. To increase the tightness, you can do easy tuning, which does not take muchtime. This will allow in practice to understand the device and the principle of how the gun functions.
