Unlike pop singers, almost nothing is known about opera singers by the general public. Many opera singers with unique voices are unfairly forgotten. Elena Grebenyuk, whose magnificent soprano touches listeners to the core, managed to combine the qualities of an opera singer and a popular personality. She is recognized on the street and invited to television as a guest and jury member of music shows.
Biography
Elena Grebenyuk is a native of sunny Azerbaijan. The opera singer was born on July 31, 1975 in the glorious city of Baku. Until the age of 14, Grebenyuk lived in her native Azerbaijan.
And in 1989 her family was forced to move to Ukraine. In the capital, Kyiv, Elena Grebenyuk continued her studies. She mastered the program well, was a diligent student, thanks to which she graduated from school with a silver medal.
Moving to Kyiv, the girl attended vocal lessons, as she dreamed of a careersingers. In 1992, Elena Grebenyuk applied to the Kyiv Conservatory named after P. I. Tchaikovsky. The examiners noted the chic voice of a young girl, and she was enrolled in the course of Professor K. P. Radchenko.
In 1997, a student of the conservatory took part in the First International Vocal Competition. Patorzhinsky.
The talented owner of the opera soprano voice won the competition and received the title of "Golden Hope of Ukraine".
Career
In 1999, Elena graduated from the conservatory. In the same year, she won first place in the music competition "Young Virtuosos of Ukraine".
Immediately after receiving her diploma, she was accepted as a soloist at the Kyiv Municipal Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, where she served for almost thirteen years.
At the same time, Elena Grebenyuk continued her postgraduate studies under the guidance of Professor A. Yu. Mokrenko. In 2005, he offered a talented student the position of his assistant.
For four years (from 2001 to 2005) Elena trained at the National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater of Ukraine named after Taras Shevchenko.
From 2004 to 2012, Elena Grebenyuk regularly collaborated with the Simferopol Chamber Theater.
Achievements
In 2005 Elena Grebenyuk released her own CD called Le Forze del Destino. In June 2006, this work was recognized as the best and awarded the Grand Prix of the Eurovideo contest, which was held in Albania.
In 2007, the heroineof this article was invited to the "Star Factory" project, where she taught vocals to young performers.
In 2011, opera singer Elena Grebenyuk defended the honor of the country at the International Vocal Festival "Martisor", which was held in Moldova. She performed, as always, excellently, but she failed to win.
In the same year, Elena was again invited to television, but now as a team coach. Work in "Show No. 1" on the "Inter" channel not only became a new experience for the opera singer, but also gave Elena national love.
Few opera singers people know by sight. Photos of Elena Grebenyuk flooded the Internet, they began to recognize her on the streets and even ask for autographs.
In October 2012, Grebenyuk was invited to Novyi Kanal as a judge of the ShowmastGowan project.
Today Elena is raising her 10-year-old daughter Anastasia, performing on stage and happily sharing her skills with young performers.
