In view of the fact that in Russia weapons for self-defense cannot be purchased without a permit and a license, those who wish to acquire an MP-81 will have to complete a number of formalities. The fact is that this model is a firearm of limited destruction (OOOP). According to experts, the use of such rifle units as a whole should not cause life-threatening injuries to a person. Of the "injuries", only temporary non-lethal lesions are inflicted. However, the MP-81 can inflict severe and in some cases fatal wounds. For example, if you hit the attacker in the head with a rubber bullet from a short distance. In this regard, the turnover and storage of traumatic rifle units is controlled in Russia.
