The Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship, in addition to providing various public services, is also improving the investment climate in order to attract the attention of Russian and foreign investors to new projects and developments. The key tasks of the Department also include the development of scientific activities associated with innovation, new technologies and entrepreneurship, namely its material, consulting support.

There are more than 10 similar technoparks in Moscow under the patronage of the Department. The most famous of them are Caliber and Baitik. Children's Technopark "Kalibr" provides educational programs in the field of computer animation and 3D modeling for teenage students. The educational course is designed for 36 academic hours, namely, one three-hour lesson per week.

Baytik Children's Technopark is the second of the most famous technoparks in Russia, which is supervised by the Moscow Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship. Training in it is longer than in Caliber, and takes either 1 or 3 years (depending on the chosen direction). Every year, education is provided to more than 400 students who are already 14 years old, but not 18. Main areas: programming, robotics, video editing, 3D modeling and some others.

Department and business activities

As already mentioned, the Department provides small and medium-sized businesses with all kinds of financial and material support: it provides subsidies, benefits, preferences. He also deals with the issue of business protection: if the rights of an entrepreneur were somehow violated, then he has the opportunity to contact the Business Protection Headquarters, one of the subordinate organizations of the Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship. At the headquarters, an entrepreneur can count on qualified legal assistance and protection of their rights and interests.

When contacting the Department, owners of small and medium-sized companies, enterprises can count on the opportunity to use their right to purchase premises and benefits regarding rent: m2 will cost only 4, 5 thousand rubles a year. The Department also helps start-up entrepreneurs with basic purchases of materials, raw materials, software, office equipment for a total amount of up to half a million rubles.
