Biography of an official and a military man
Nikolai Rogozhkin was born in the small town of Michurinsk in the Tambov region. It happened in 1952. His parents were simple workers. In particular, my father worked at a locomotive repair plant in Michurinsk. He took part in the battles in the war against the Nazis.
Nikolai Rogozhkin's mother was an operator at the local main post office. The future plenipotentiary graduated from the 10th grade of the local high school in 1969.
Military education
At the same time, Nikolai Rogozhkin enlisted in the Soviet army, graduated with honors from the Suvorov military school in the capital.
Even at a young age, the hero of our article decided for himself that he would bind his fatewith the service of the Motherland. Therefore, he continued to receive a military education, deciding to study the strategy and tactics of warfare. To do this, he entered the Higher Command School in Moscow, and later graduated from the specialized Higher Command Tank School in Kazan.
Improving one's own qualifications and obtaining regular military ranks throughout his career has become the life goal of Nikolai Rogozhkin. The biography also includes studies at the academy specializing in armored forces, as well as the most important academy - the general staff. He graduated from the latter already in 1995, having received the rank of lieutenant general as a result of training.
In the service of the Motherland
The first military unit in which Rogozhkin began his service was the 214th motorized rifle regiment, which was part of the Bakhmach division, based near Kyiv. Over time, he rose to the rank of tank platoon commander. Later he began to command a company, in 1977 - a headquarters, and in 1978, finally, he directly led a tank battalion.
In 1980, after studying at the Academy of the Armored Academy, Nikolai Rogozhkin was assigned to the 20th motorized rifle division, which was based in Germany and was part of the group of Soviet troops. He led the headquarters of the Chertkovsky regiment. In 1984 he was given command of the 40th Guards Tank Regiment.
Interesting fact: he received the high post of regiment commander with the rank of major. This was a unique case both for those times andaccording to the current. Usually such high positions go to senior officers. In order to level this situation, Rogozhkin was soon given the rank of lieutenant colonel out of turn.
Since 1986, he headed the 11th Guards Tank Division, which was stationed in Turkestan, specifically in the town of Kushka. In the early 1990s, he headed a center that trained junior specialists for motorized rifle troops. It was located in Ashgabat.
Service in Russia
After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Rogozhkin did not change his oath, as some officers did at that time, and remained in the armed forces. Moreover, he went for a promotion.
He graduated from the Higher Academy of the General Staff, began teaching military art at this educational institution.
Significant career growth in his biography was outlined in 1996, when Rogozhkin became deputy chief of the main staff of the ground forces.
In the mid-90s, like many Russian military men, he planned military operations on the territory of the Chechen Republic during the first armed campaign against militants and extremists in this Russian region.
The period from 1996 to 1997 also turned out to be intense in his career. Rogozhkin was sent on a special mission to Tajikistan, where he took part in battles with the enemy on the Tajik-Afghan border.
Service in the Ministry of Internal Affairs
In 2000, Rogozhkin, who at that time served in the rank of lieutenant general, was transferred to the units of the internal troops of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs. Led the department for direct combat training of internalunits.
And in 2001 he became the first deputy chief of the main headquarters of the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
As Commander-in-Chief
For 10 years, from 2004 to 2014, Rogozhkin was the commander-in-chief of the internal troops. In this regard, in 2007, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin awarded him the rank of Army General.
Soon the status of the position occupied by the hero of our article was significantly upgraded. Since 2009, the head of the internal troops began to combine the post of Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. This promotion greatly increased his weight in the warrior community.
Rogozhkin reached the peak of his military career in 2013, when, commanding the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, he became First Deputy Federal Minister of the Interior.
In 2014, he was dismissed from military service at his own request. At that time he was 62 years old.
At the post of Plenipotentiary Representative
Having retired from the army, Nikolai Rogozhkin did not stay idle for long. Plenipotentiary, whose biography is given in this article, he became already in May 2014. He was instructed to represent the interests of the head of state in the Siberian Federal District. Thus, the Altai, Krasnoyarsk and Trans-Baikal Territories, the republics of Buryatia, Khakassia and Tyva, Irkutsk, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Tomsk regions entered into the zone of its influence.
The administrative center of the Siberian Federaldistrict was located in its largest city - Novosibirsk. At the same time, Rogozhkin became a full state adviser of the first class.
Nicholas Rogozhkin had to solve a wide range of problems. The plenipotentiary competently led the elimination of large-scale forest fires in Siberia that hit local forests in 2015. Then an operational headquarters was urgently created, which took measures to combat this natural disaster.
True, not everyone believed that nature and an accident were the culprit of these fires. One of them was the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Siberian Federal District Nikolai Rogozhkin. Commenting on the critical situation in Siberia, he suggested that the fires could have arisen as a result of the actions of a certain sabotage group, which, according to the official, could consist of well-trained and trained oppositionists. Their main goal was to destabilize the situation in the Siberian region.
At the same time, Nikolai Rogozhkin, the plenipotentiary whose biography is presented in this article, made several other bright and ambiguous statements. For example, he advised fire victims to independently take measures to put out the fire and clear their own areas affected by fires. And also actively donate unburned scrap metal to make it easier for rescuers to deal with numerous blockages.
Income of the plenipotentiary

So, only in 2014, when Rogozhkin left military service and became the official representative of the president in one of the largest districts of the country, his official income amounted to almost nine million rubles. At the same time, the wife of the official earned quite a bit - a little more than 200 thousand rubles.
At the same time, the official owned thirteen land plots of various sizes, four of them were residential buildings. The plenipotentiary also owned one-third of the apartment, three garages, a gazebo, a sauna on one of the land plots, a barbecue house and two summer kitchens.
Rogozhkin's wife, despite her small total income, declared a lot of real estate. In particular, these are nine land plots, three of which are residential buildings. There are also three apartments, one of which is in shared ownership, four garages, a sauna, two parking spaces and two stables.
It should be noted that all real estate belonging to the spouses are located in Russia.
In addition to real estate, the Rogozhkins also declared movable property. Nikolai Evgenievich owns a Land Rover car and a representative of the domestic auto industry - UAZ. Also two trailers, a boat, a motorcycle and a Japanese Yamaha ATV.
The official's wife has only one car - a German Mercedes-Benz.
Rogozhkin Family
Rogozhkin's family is big and strong. He got married at the timewhen I was a junior officer. His wife went through with him numerous hardships of military camps and a constant change of residence.
They have one child - a son who decided to follow in his father's footsteps. Now he serves as an officer in the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
