Larkspur, the use of which in medical practice is very diverse, has a diuretic effect and is especially helpful in diseases of the genitourinary organs. It is very often used to treat cancer of the kidneys and stomach. Decoction treats the organs of the digestive tract, as well as intestinal upset, eliminates stomach pain.
It is believed that an infusion of larkspur flowers improves eyesight, helps in the fight against sclerosis and diseases of the nervous system. An infusion of the herb is used as a compress for fractures, and a decoction of the roots is used to treat burns and hernias. Sometimes a sore throat is treated by rinsing a decoction of larkspur, and with the help of lotions - purulent inflammation of the eyes. The seeds are used to make antiparasitics.
Methods of taking
There are many folk recipes for the treatment of various diseases, where field larkspur is used. Describing each of them is a very laborious process, but some can be given as an example:
- Boil 2 or 3 cups of water and then pour one teaspoon of larkspur herb into it. Next, the container should be tightly closed, wrapped and placed in a warm place for 8 hours to infuse. Ready infusion must be filtered and drunk in 4 doses per day. This is how diseases of many internal organs are treated.
- From jaundice, dropsy and hernia, another recipe is used, according to which 2-3 tbsp. spoons of grass must be poured with a glass of water and boiled for 10 minutes, after which the broth should be filtered and its volume should be increased with boiled water to 200 g. Treatment is carried out by using 1 tbsp. l. three times a day. Externally, such an infusion can be used to anesthetize burns and tumors.
- For steam, which in modern conditions can be prepared in a thermos, take 20 g of larkspur and 1 liter of boiling water, insist overnight. During the next day, drink 3 glasses before meals. In this way, diseases are mainly treatedurinary system, jaundice and conjunctivitis. It is also used externally.
- For the treatment of cancer in a water bath for 15 minutes, insist 40 g of larkspur with a liter of water, and then filter. Three times a day, an hour before meals, take a third of a glass.
- Grinding larkspur seeds into powder, you can get an antiparasitic agent. Doses of its reception are determined individually.
The larkspur is undoubtedly the most valuable gift to humanity, which is constantly faced with various kinds of diseases.
